Confession: I’ve not yet grown out of my “fast-fashion” habit. I hope to one day be inspired enough to purge my closet, and start over with the mindset of buying less (and buying only the best quality of clothing and accessories), living out of a “time capsule” wardrobe, mixing and matching just a few high-end staples. But for now, my finances and my personal taste in style simply do not warrant doing so.

We had the most gorgeous weekend here in Indiana! If only it could have been extended by another day or two…
Sometimes I miss waking up on Easter Sundays all giddy, knowing that the Easter Bunny had hopped his way on through our home and hidden a basket for me and one for my little brother somewhere inside the house, and a few candy and coin-filled eggs in the backyard.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, friends! I’ve always loved this holiday, for many reasons. As a child, I looked forward to it so much because it always signaled the start of warmer weather and sunnier days ahead. And, while digging out all of the green clothes to wear in layers at school and making green goodies in the kitchen with my mom was always a fun time, I became curious early on (I was a rather studious, bookworm of a kiddo), as to what not only St. Patrick’s Day was all about, but what Ireland was like, too.
I have to admit that during my time abroad in England and Ireland, while I never had any trouble finding delicious foods to enjoy, I often felt like I was missing out with all of the “Sunday Roast,” “Cornish Pasty,” and “Shepherd’s Pie” staples and specials featured at nearly every restaurant and pub I visited.
We’re getting excited for all of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities about to happen around here! I thought I’d round up a playlist to get the party started.
