I love a good cocktail any time of the year, but often fall back on the same old favorites. Many of my go-tos are very summery in ingredients and in flavor, so I’m not only looking to shake up my cocktail routine in general, lately I’m scouring Pinterest for all of the autumn-inspired recipes.
The countdown to Thanksgiving is on and I’m dreaming of all of the amazing food and conversation and naps to be had!
Happy Cinco de Mayo, friends! I’ve always had a great interest in Mexican culture, history, folklore, and of course, food and drink. At one point during my time in college, I was obsessively devouring every piece of Latin American literature and film I could get my hands on, and spent a great deal of time practicing my Spanish (which sadly, I haven’t put to use in far too long.)
Anyone who knows me knows that I’ll choose chai over coffee whenever possible. There’s just something so comforting about it and, while I’m normally drinking it in the morning, I often crave a cup at night – especially when winter settles in.
Anyone that knows me knows that I’ll gladly take a Bloody Mary over just about any other cocktail. Especially when it’s loaded with all the fixin’s! They’re my absolute favorite and I mean, they’re not too terrible an obsession, right? They’re one of the healthier mixed drink options. (???)
Jeremy has been obsessed with Moscow Mules this summer. It’s the first mixed drink I’ve really seen him get into, as he’s so into craft beer. He’s perfected the classic Moscow Mule and, while I enjoy them, too, I became curious as to whether there might be an autumn-inspired version.
