Well, we’ve had a nice long slumber away from blogging. But we’ve woken up rearing to go, with many life updates and ideas to share with you, dear readers. But before we get into all that, we just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making your way back to Beard & Bloom. And for asking both of us during our hiatus whether or not we’d ever be resuming the blog. For sharing how you still dig back through the archives for recipes, travel recommendations, and house inspiration. For boosting our egos by letting us know you found value in what we had to say and share on this space. It means so much, and we definitely needed that constant encouragement to make it back here!
All that being said, we’ve been working a bit on the backend of the site to bring some of the technical things current. We’re continuing to work on improving the speed of the site so you don’t have to wait as long for pages and images to load—please bear with us on that! Up to this point, we’ve increased the font size knowing lots of you are reading this on your phones, worked on better categorizing posts so you can find them easier, updated some of our key pages, and even made some changes to our branding! If you spot anything that’s broken or wonky, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Our ultimate goal in the coming year is to completely makeover our site so it’s even easier to navigate! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. One step at a time.
And the most important step in our list of priorities has been taken in letting you know that you’ll be hearing from us again, much more often!
